CONFIDENT WHEN I’M NOT

Confidence, is the x- factor which sets you apart, rising head and shoulders above even the prettiest girls or higher educated women.

It’s true that many a “not-so pretty” lass has scooped the eligible  bachelor or a woman with less qualifications or experience, walked away with the employment opportunity. Many women wonder “what does she have that I don’t?” The answer is simply CONFIDENCE!

So how do I get this confidence? How can I be confident when I’m not? Do we do as everybody else does and “fake it ’till you make it?” What about my integrity?

The GOOD NEWS for the child of God is that we don’t have to fake anything. Let your weakness be a door to His abiding presence.

When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we were filled with the Holy Spirit who comes to reside on the inside of us. This is the Spirit of God whom Jesus promised us when He ascended into heaven.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the God-head and He is with us ALWAYS.

He is our helper, our guide, our teacher, our councillor,  our strength and our shield.

So we have an unseen partner (the Holy Spirit), an advantage that sets us apart from the crowd. We do not have to rely on our own strength, wisdom, power etc.We have our God living within us that gives us everything we need, crowns us with favour and who is fully attentive to us in our need of Him.

We can stand tall and CONFIDENT IN HIM. Christ empowers us and when we are aware of His living presence accompanying us each step of the way, we can rest IN HIM. He’s got you. Whisper His name to yourself throughout the day to remind you that He is right there and shining His  light on you and through you.

Let’s talk around Jesus and share treasures found in His word. Send insights or requests for prayerful support to charlene@godsradiance.com
